For many years the Wilderness has had a very special place in my heart. My house is full of beautiful people – my husband, Joshua, our 2 children, Caleb and Ellie, and my parents, Jerry and Carol. But with a full house comes a deep need to “get away” all by myself and be with Jesus. So for many years I have been coming to the Wilderness quarterly and it has changed my life.
During the day I currently manage life at home, homeschool our children 2 days a week, and support my parents in whatever they need. Family is my first ministry, but along with that I am a speaker, leader, and mentor. I run and lead mom’s ministries both at my church as well as our children’s homeschool hybrid academy. In the past I received a Christian outreach degree from Concordia St. Paul, worked at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge as a staff and dean, and served as outreach director at a church. Our family loves to experience God’s world by traveling to places like Colorado, Mexico, and Thailand, and you’ll often find us biking and paddleboarding at the lakes in Minneapolis and St. Paul. I am honored to serve on the Wilderness board and excited to witness God’s continued faithfulness over this incredible ministry.
