Cindy started working at TWFM in 1977 as a volunteer for four months. After many years of not being on staff and years of living and working in other places and parts of the world, she and her husband Larry bought property adjoining The Wilderness on the south side in 2000. In 2023, she rejoined the crew, serving in the front office, answering phones, making reservations and whatever else is needed. As the ministry is growing, so is the need for additional help in all aspects of serving people who come here for refreshment and time spent with the Lord.
In whatever place and situation they find themselves, Cindy and her husband, Larry seek the Lord about what He would have them do while they are there. They have six children and 15 grandchildren, most of whom live within two hours of Frederic.
