Personal Prayer Retreat Cabins

Klawitter Cabin · Bo Cabin · Timothy Cabin · Westrom Cabin

The Klawitter Cabin was built in memory of Pastor and Mrs. W. E. Klawitter, fondly known as Ernie and Ethel.

Ernest faithfully served as a Pastor, Chaplain, Teacher, Radio Pastor on the 'Psalm of Life', Evangelist, and Camp Director. He also served as an advisor to the Wilderness Fellowship Board in its beginning.

Ernie and Ethel were motivated by the love of Jesus and freely gave of themselves so that others would know their Lord and be built up and encouraged in their faith.

With this in mind, we their family and friends offer The Klawitter Memorial Cabin as a quiet place for you to have an encounter with Jesus.

    Cabin Information

The Klawitter Cabin, a beautifully hand crafted log cabin with attached screen porch, is tucked neatly in the woods. It has electric heat, air-conditioning, microwave oven, toaster, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, a sink and water jug for drinking and cooking needs and miscellaneous utensils. In seeking to make your stay as comfortable as possible we have provided a queen size bed in the loft, table and chairs, rocker and comfortable fold down double bed/futon on the main floor. The fully modern bathroom with shower is nearby.

To access the prayer cabin, a short downhill hike is required.

What you will need to bring: Comfortable clothing to meet your indoor and outdoor needs - We suggest slippers for inside, bed linens or sleeping bag, blankets, pillows, towels and personal care items, simple food that can be cooked in the microwave, a flashlight, reading material and Bible.

No Pets, TV's or candles allowed.
