Wendy Stromberg

Wendy is a servant leader whose heart for spiritual intimacy and stewardship naturally aligns with the mission of Wilderness Fellowship Ministries. Though relatively new to the ministry, she and her family have quickly fallen in love with this beautiful wilderness space where God calls to His people in countless ways. She was drawn to serve on the board because Wilderness Fellowship provides the sacred opportunity to participate in God’s work of drawing people into quiet, restorative places where they can encounter Him deeply. Wendy believes that the stillness of retreat—whether alone in a prayer cabin or gathered in worship and fellowship—fosters transformation that is both personal and communal. Wendy holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at the University of St. Thomas. She is certified in Corporate Governance through Wharton University and in Executive Leadership Coaching, and has completed training in strengths-based leadership and “Leading Jesus’ Way” frameworks. Professionally, Wendy brings extensive experience in organizational leadership, governance, and stewardship through her work in a family-owned enterprise and nonprofit board service. She has chaired governance committees and helped build structures that allow mission-driven leaders to flourish while protecting relational health and organizational clarity. Her background uniquely equips her to support Wilderness Fellowship’s longterm sustainability and Spirit-led growth, especially in seasons of succession and transition. Wendy approaches board service as sacred stewardship— holding family unity and organizational responsibility together with humility, prayerful discernment, and trust in God’s timing. Wendy is a wife to Harry, mother of four young adults, worship leader, and lifelong learner. She is grateful to help steward a ministry that offers refuge, renewal, and space to hear the voice of the Lord in the wilderness.
